The 10th St. Patrick's Day Parade in Nottingham was an extra special occasion as children from 4 local primary schools paraded through the city in costumes they had made in workshops run by artist Kerry O'Brien . The streets were a mass of colour with brightly decorated umbrellas, Irish tricolour costumes, leprechauns and fairies. The Saints Patrick, Brigid, Brendan and Columba were also to be seen celebrating Ireland's patron Saint. - Our lady of Perpetual Succour Primary School, Bulwell.
- Good Shepherd Primary School, Woodthorpe.
